Leap for Life was more than just a fundraising campaign, it was a community taking a stand for the next generation of young men in the Illawarra.

Throughout April 2026, Healthier Illawarra Men partnered with Skydive Australia for the inaugural Leap for Life campaign, with $10 from every jump at the Wollongong Drop Zone donated to support programs focused on mental health, emotional resilience and respectful behaviour education for young men across the region.

Thanks to the incredible support of the community, campaign ambassadors, sponsors and Skydive Australia, the campaign raised more than $19,000 for initiatives helping shape healthier, more self-aware and respectful young men in the Illawarra.

The campaign also helped shine a spotlight on the importance of early intervention and positive role modelling, reinforcing HIM’s commitment to creating lasting change through education, conversation and community action.

Healthier Illawarra Men hopes Leap for Life will continue to grow into a signature annual campaign supporting better outcomes for young men and future generations across the region.
